You know what you are? SELFISH. (WIP)
My final for 3D animation. We were supposed to rig something, so... I rigged a chair. The two characters are from BYU's latest film 'Estefan,' which just got finished and which I had the privilege to work on, but can't show any of the shots just yet. And yes, this is still a WIP, so if you have any concrit, that would be terrific!

subway study #03
Ahahahahaha. I think I'm going to stop for now. Maybe I'll continue once this semester is over. Man I need to learn how to draw heads... Based on this Flikr photo:

From this photo I found off Google Image:

Quick painting I did last night while I was half-coherent. I'll probably be doing more of these later, but I doubt I'm gonna go back and change anything. Copied from this Flikr photo:

Painting Practice

A bunch of my friends are taking Digital Painting from Sam Nielson and I am mad jealous; not necessarily because I love torturing myself over one painting for 20 hours or so, but because I feel I have an atrociously weak sense of value and color and that has to stop. I ended up having some extra time today because the 3D labs were being used, so I decided to spend it by painting something quick and experimental.
This is the same character from the one-panel assignment: Noah, a Romani guy who suffers from terrible luck and an unfortunate fate (but turns it around in a very odd way). I made his face longer because I wanted it to contrast the Chinese girl's face more, but there's still something I really like about the face of his previous design... Maybe it's just because his expression's pretty bland here, though. I'll do some more experiments later.
Is it just me or is something wrong with his eyes? Like, they don't look like they're socketed properly. I dunno, is anyone else seeing this?

Ground Control To Major Tom

Hello. My name is Christina. I'm new to things and stuff. This is something I did for Cynthia's Animation class, which in this term thankfully includes basic art principles... things that I apparently aren't that familiar with despite drawing for almost ten years. Funny that!
